About the Network

What the Faith Action Network Is

FAN is not limited to any religion, congregation, or belief system. The "faith" in Faith Action Network refers to belief in people β€” the conviction that organized compassion can improve lives and communities.

🀝
Organized Compassion
FAN turns individual goodwill into a coordinated system of care. Compassion can be organized. Service can be coordinated. Communities can prevent hardship through connection.
πŸ”—
A Bridge to Resources
FAN does not replace social services β€” it connects people to them. Programs and resources exist, but many residents never reach them. FAN bridges that gap through trusted human relationships.
πŸ›‘οΈ
Preventative, Not Reactive
Most systems respond after crisis. FAN prevents crises. Most assistance requires individuals to seek help. FAN brings help to individuals β€” before challenges become permanent hardship.
The Process

How FAN Works

Volunteers are trained to assist individuals and guide them toward solutions. No special credentials required β€” only a belief in people and a willingness to serve.
